Biography:
Dr Maticka is a theriogenologist – USA board certified as a reproduction specialist. She is also a member of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in veterinary behaviour. Natalie taught at the University of Queensland for 5 years before transitioning to private practice, and then into the not-for-profit sector where Natalie is the Breeding and Reproduction Manager of Guide Dogs Queensland. She is also an Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) canine handler. Natalie has a keen interest in veterinary education and loves supporting vets as they update their skills in both reproduction and behaviour.
Natalie chose theriogenology as her specialty because it combined her passions for medicine, endocrinology, and surgery across a wide variety of species.
