Biography: <p>Dr Maticka is a theriogenologist – USA board certified as a reproduction specialist. She is also a member of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in veterinary behaviour. Natalie taught at the University of Queensland for 5 years before transitioning to private practice, and then into the not-for-profit sector where Natalie is the Breeding and Reproduction Manager of Guide Dogs Queensland. She is also an Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) canine handler. Natalie has a keen interest in veterinary education and loves supporting vets as they update their skills in both reproduction and behaviour.</p>
<p>Natalie chose theriogenology as her specialty because it combined her passions for medicine, endocrinology, and surgery across a wide variety of species. </p>
