Biography:
After graduating from Santa Catarina State University (UDESC/2003) in Brazil, Dr. Santos undertook an internship in Equine Medicine & Surgery and later on completed a Masters degree in Veterinary Sciences at UDESC/2007. Dr. Santos then completed an anaesthesia internship (Louisiana State University) and residency training in Anaesthesia and Pain Management at Cornell University culminating in 2012 with his certification as a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia (ACVAA). He has worked at the University at Pennsylvania USA (New Bolton Center) as a Research Associate and Clinical Instructor and was appointed in 2012 to the position of Registrar in Veterinary Anaesthesia at Murdoch University. Dr. Santos joined The University of Adelaide as an Anaesthesia Lecturer in 2014.
