Biography:
John is a clinical academic at the School of Veterinary Science Gatton, Qld. He has taught final year students small animal medicine and surgery since 2008. John is a member of the ANZCVS and is the current Chair of Membership in General Practice, Small Animals. John is also a long-standing examiner for the Australian Veterinary Boards Council. John is a recipient of the Trevor Heath Teaching Excellence Award as well as holding a Deans Commendation for Effective Teaching.
Outside of his professional life, John is an accredited cricket coach. He has a mildly disturbing obsession with Australian red wine and is tragic supporter of the Australian Cricket Teams (both genders), the Brisbane Heat (both genders), the Queensland Reds, the South Sydney Rabbitohs and the Brisbane Lions AFL team.
