- Apply techniques to relieve muscle & fascia tension
- Evaluate lameness accurately
- Integrate functional & assistive tasks
- Recognize when early intervention prevents complications
Why This Workshop is Different
Hands-On Assessment
You’ll get hands-on with real canine patients, palpating muscles, fascia, and trigger points. The more you practice, the more confident you’ll feel identifying tension and applying rehab techniques that make a real difference.
Neuro & Orthopaedic Skills
Sharpen your clinical exams with targeted neuro and orthopaedic assessments. Learn to localize lesions, evaluate subtle lameness, and confidently manage even complex cases in your clinic.
Monitor Patient Progress
Learn how to track and document your patients’ responses to rehab exercises. This helps you refine programs, measure improvement, and ensure every intervention is effective and tailored to the individual patient.
Effective Owner Communication
Discover strategies for explaining rehab plans clearly and setting realistic expectations. You’ll learn to guide clients on exercises they can safely perform at home – helping patients recover faster and improving client satisfaction.
Early Intervention Strategies
Recognize subtle warning signs before small issues become big problems. You’ll learn proactive strategies to intervene early, prevent complications, and optimize recovery outcomes for all your patients.
This Workshop Helps You With:
Functional Rehab Techniques
Apply evidence-based exercises, functional assessments, and assistive devices to restore mobility, comfort, and confidence in your patients. You’ll learn how to structure therapeutic programs that go beyond “rest and NSAIDs”, adapt exercises to each patient’s needs, and track their progress to ensure meaningful recovery.
Gait & Movement Mastery
Develop the skills to detect subtle gait changes and movement abnormalities that are easy to miss in a busy clinic. You’ll refine stance, gait, and neuro assessments, measure range of motion with precision, and interpret muscle function accurately.
Case-Based Problem Solving
Work through real patient scenarios, from post-op orthopedic and neuro cases to active “weekend warrior” dogs, to sharpen your clinical reasoning. Learn to adapt rehab plans on the fly, identify early warning signs, and troubleshoot challenges in real time.
