Biography:
Leanne began her veterinary nursing career in 2005 in a busy small animal practice where she gained her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and discovered her passion for surgery. In 2012, Leanne seized the opportunity to work in referral practice alongside board certified specialist surgeons and referral neurologists and internists. Leanne completed her Diploma in Veterinary Nursing (Surgical) and has since advanced her skills and knowledge in surgical and critical patient care, surgical assistance, anaesthesia and analgesia, theatre management and sterile supply.
Leanne enjoys all aspects of surgical nursing, striving for the highest standards of care with each patient. Throughout her career, Leanne has mentored colleagues by sharing her knowledge and passion for surgery, and is now expanding to embrace her passion for education in the wider veterinary nurse community.
