Biography:
After 10 years in general practice as a small animal veterinarian, Mika undertook a residency and became a registered specialist in veterinary diagnostic imaging in 2014. Since then, Mika has continued to work in clinical practice, and she has also embraced the field of teleradiology.
Mika complements her primary role in teleradiology with clinical work, research commitments and continuing education, including contributing to educational resources for the ANZCVS. Her goal is to inspire and motivate general practice veterinarians by sharing diagnostic imaging skills applicable in any veterinary practice.
Mika joins the VetPrac education team as co-lead at our 2023 Abdominal Ultrasound Workshop in Darwin.
