Biography:
Dr Megan Jeffers graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Honours) in 2009. Since graduating, she has worked in small animal general practice in both South Australia and Queensland. Early in her career, Megan attended a dental wet lab, which sparked a strong professional interest in small animal dentistry. Over subsequent years, this interest developed into a dedicated focus as she observed the positive impact that high quality dental care can have on patient health and longevity. She has also recognised the important role that general practice plays in delivering effective dental care to support patients in living healthier lives. In 2021, Megan attained membership of the ANZCVS Veterinary Dentistry Chapter. She has since been involved in presenting at ANZCVS Science Week and is committed to sharing knowledge across the veterinary profession to support improved patient care and clinical outcomes.
