Small Animal Nutrition for Nurses & Techs 2024
Have you fallen into the “chicken trap”?
We certainly have! Microwaving frozen chicken for a few minutes might yield a moist, “nutritious” morsel for the patient, but we have come to realise there are better options for our patients.
When we say “nutrition”, we’re not talking about the litres of energy drinks consumed by the staff. This online course considers what we know about small animal nutrition, and how we can help patients live their best lives through evidence-based feeding choices. If you’re a veterinary nurse or technician with a keen interest in patient wellbeing, you’ll find this course to be rewarding because food really matters! In this course, you’ll discover how your skills apply to nutritional management in veterinary practice, and how you can directly impact your patients through giving great nutritional recommendations.
Access opens September 11th, 2024, and expires April 16th, 2025.
