Biography:
Dr Prado graduated from Federal University of Viçosa, Brazil in 2001, followed by two years of residency in Large Animal Reproduction, Medicine and Surgery at Londrina State University. João worked for several years in dairy and beef cattle reproduction, and since 2006 is working exclusively in equine reproduction with a focus on freezing semen, artificial insemination and embryo transfer.
In 2017, João had a challenging and different experience, running a massive embryo transfer program in China. Since 2018, he has been working together with Dr David Pascoe at Pascoe’s Oakey Veterinary Hospital.
