Biography:
A graduate from the University of Sydney, Bruce has a surgical career spanning more than 23 years. He completed intern and residency training at Murdoch and Louisiana State Universities, a Master of Science research degree (biomechanics) and achieved specialist certification from the ACVS and the ANZCVS. From 1997 to 2012 he has been engaged in private practice referral surgery on the Eastern Seaboard. In 2012 he assisted in establishing the Veterinary Medical Centre at the University of Queensland’s new Gatton Veterinary Campus. Throughout his career, he has been active in the career development of future surgeons and is currently serving on the Council of the ANZCVS. Bruce has a particular interest in orthopaedic surgery.
